PRESBYTERY MEETINGS IN 2012

The meetings of the Presbytery of Port Phillip West in 2012 will be held as follows:

Saturday 28 April (10 am to 3 pm) - Gannawarra Mission Centre, North Essendon Uniting Church

Saturday 30 June (10 am to 3 pm) - Western Heights Uniting Church

Saturday 25 August (10 am to 3 pm) - Gannawarra

Saturday 27 October (10 am to 3 pm) - Western Heights

Saturday 1 December (10 am to 3 pm) - Gannawarra

CONVERSATIONS IN THE MIDDLE

On the 8th of May, from 6 pm, at the Lincolnshire Hotel, corner of Mt Alexander Rd, Lincoln Road and Keilor Road, North Essendon, the first of our "Conversations in the Middle" will take place.  This is intended to be a relaxed opportunity, over a meal, to join in conversation about a particular topic and to enjoy each other's company.  It's informal, and if the conversation wanders off into other areas, no one will be concerned!

The topic for this gathering is "The Great Emergence", which is based on a book by Phyllis Tickle called The Great Emergence: How Christianity is Changing and Why (published by Baker Books in 2008.  A copy of an extract from the first chapter is available from Robert Renton (robert.renton@bigpond.com) if you intend to come - and please note that we also need to confirm bookings for the event, so please let Robert know if you intend coming.
