* is made up of people (ministers, elders/leaders, and other church members) representing congregations and agencies within the geographical bounds of the presbytery
* exercises such oversight and seeks such reconciliation as is necessary to the life and mission of the Church

* brings a regional linkage to relationships, planning, and mission
