Working Groups

 

Covenanting Committee

* maintains a point of contact between the presbytery and UAICC

* monitors the reconciliation process between indigenous culture and UAICC

* educates about the story of indigenous people

 

Pastoral Relations Committee (PRC)

* arranges placements

* oversees vacant placements

* supports ministry teams

* accepts applications for specified ministries

* supports candidates

* provides pastoral oversight and support

* provides professional supervision

* deals with complaints

* explores new initiatives

 

Presbytery

* is made up of people (ministers, elders/leaders, and other church members) representing congregations and agencies within the    geographical bounds of the presbytery

* exercises such oversight and seeks such reconciliation as is necessary to the life and mission of the Church

* stimulates and encourages the people in the strengthening of their faith

* brings a regional linkage to relationships, planning, and mission

* develops leadership skills

* points all towards their calling in Christ

 

Presbytery Standing Committee

* acts on behalf of the presbytery between meetings

 

Resource Development Committee (RDC)

Handles issues relating to:

* finance

* property

* resource development

* Board of Mission and Resourcing BOMAR

* explores new initiatives
