Accessibility Statement

As a member of the community, the Uniting Church in Australia Victoria & Tasmania makes every effort to ensure that we do not discriminate against any person or group.

UCA VicTas's websites are built to ensure accessibility by all members of our community, using specialised techniques to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and thereby comply with local anti-discrimination legislation, such as the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

What is Web Accessibility?

Web Accessibility means building and maintaining websites that are accessible to the entire community, through better development and maintenance practices that make it easier for every customer to access your services.

Who is affected by Web Accessibility?

Every visitor to a website benefits from a more usable and more accessible website. If there are documents you cannot read, please use the feedback form to let us know.
