KCO stands for KUCA (Kids of the Uniting Church in Australia) Camp Out and is designed to assist kids as they discover and explore their faith and as they are encouraged to share and build relationships with their peers. Each year there is a wide variety of activities, games, worship and music based around a central theme designed to teach about Jesus’ life and teachings in an understandable, age-appropriate and fun way. 

 Where:  Scotch Oakburn College Valley Campus, Fingal Valley, Tasmania

 Who: Children in Grades 3 - 6

Who Runs It?  Uniting Church Presbytery of Tasmania

Theme:   Big World

How do We Get to Camp? Buses leave with groups from Hobart and Launceston to arrive at 12.00pm on Saturday. Buses leave again on Sunday 12.30pm from Fingal

    Cost:   $40.00 covers food, hire of facilities, buses to get to and from Fingal, and other equipment needed.

What do I need to bring?  
(more inclusive list is below)

  • Sun screen, Hat & water bottle
  •   Pillow, Sleeping Bag & blanket.   It can get quite cold at night
  •   A tent if possible and a Mattress/Sleeping Mat
  •   Cut lunch & drink (for Saturday)
