In 2017, the eLM unit was formed to provide resources, education and engagement. In other words, to equip Leadership for Mission.
To achieve this, a number of pre-existing units were dissolved and a new unit of Synod a under the eLM banner was created. The new unit comprises previous work undertaken by the Commission for Mission, the Centre for Theology and Ministry and the Communications unit.
The work of eLM is far reaching, formal and informal, across events, forums and engagement campaigns, face-to-face and in both traditional and digital media. This work includes:
and much more.
eLM also provides resource support – everything from certificates to books - which can be ordered via the CTM Resources website https://www.ctmresourcing.org.au/
Embedded in eLM’s work is the communications team, which is also the communication and media hub for the entire Synod. The communications team is co-located between the Centre for Theology and Ministry (CTM) in Parkville and the Synod Office at 130 Little Collins Street Melbourne, where eLM maintains a small presence.
