The VicTas Synod's Commission for Mission (CFM) works alongside Uniting Church congregations, agencies, schools and communities to help bring to life Jesus' radical vision of justice, compassion and life for all.
The Commission for Mission helps the church understand the changing nature of community and society.
It helps the church to understand and embrace the opportunities that are made possible by our post-modern, post-Christian world.
CFM staff, ordained and lay, ask questions of themselves, their faith and their church. For example, how can the Uniting Church imagine itself into a different kind of relationship with our world?
Along with the rest of the VicTas Synod, the four priorities that shape our work are Partnership, Leadership, Risk Taking and Discipleship. This website tells some of our story as we bring these themes to life in our work.Read more about our work over on Crosslight here.
